Weak glutes can ruin the runner! This article is an evidence based recommendation on which exercises are best. Not many of us really like or have the time to do core and glute exercises - let's make the time you put in economical and use only the exercises that have the best chance providing pelvic and hip stability. An evidence based example of someone that would benefit from a program including such exercises are those suffering from patello-femoral (front of knee) pain and ITB syndrome. Many others would also likely benefit from these exercises to aid in injury prevention and performance.
